DIY Resin Letters/Numbers
My son, Joseph, will be 3 in January and his current obsession: letters and numbers. He wants to talk about things that start with certain letters, loves adding small digits, and newly, spelling his name. With Christmas right around the corner, I thought I would give this easy DIY a shot and wrap it up as a gift!
Here we go, I hope you enjoy this as much as I did!
Materials and Tools:
Towel
Tooth pick
Gloves
How To Create Your Own Resin Letters/Numbers:
Lay out an old towel on your surface. You do not want resin to touch anything you care about.
Prep your silicon mold by adding fun chunky glitter (Glitter comes in the kit, but you can buy your own too!)
In one cup (cup A) pour 4oz. of bottle A
In another cup (cup B) pour 4oz. of bottle B
In a third cup combine both cups A and B by pouring in equal amounts of both liquids at the same time until empty
Using your stir stick, stir at a regular pace for 10-15 minutes
Slowly pour mixture into molds until filled
Now, sit back and watch little bubbles float to the surface. Using something sharp like a toothpick, pop them away
Let sit and cute for at least 24 hours before removing from the mold for play or, in my case, wrapping.
